Natural Aura: The Story Behind Our Hair Care Line

Some of the most meaningful things are created from personal struggles, and that's exactly how Natural Aura began.

Hi, I'm Shaniece, a young mom and the founder of Natural Aura.

For as long as I can remember, I've struggled with thinning edges. Since I was a little girl, I wore tight braids, slick ponytails, protective styles that weren't always protective, and wigs that constantly pulled on my hairline. Year after year, my edges became thinner and thinner until I was almost left with bald spots around the front of my head.

I remember looking in the mirror, feeling frustrated and wondering if my hair would ever grow back. I knew I had to do something before it was too late.

Instead of covering the problem, I decided to understand it.

I began studying the powerful traditions of Ayurvedic hair care and the botanical ingredients that women in India have trusted for centuries. I spent countless hours researching herbs, nourishing plant oils, and natural remedies known to strengthen the scalp, encourage healthy hair growth, and restore damaged hair.

After months of learning, testing, and carefully blending ingredients, I created a formula made with nutrient-rich Ayurvedic herbs and botanical oils that work together to nourish both the scalp and hair naturally.

Then life gave me another reason to keep going.

After becoming a mother, I experienced postpartum hair loss myself. Like so many women, I watched my hair begin to shed in places where it had finally started recovering. It reminded me that hair loss isn't just something we experience as children or from tight hairstyles—many mothers silently go through it after bringing beautiful life into the world.

That experience strengthened my purpose even more.

I didn't want to create just another bottle of hair oil. I wanted to create something that could bring confidence, hope, and healing to women everywhere. I wanted mothers experiencing postpartum hair loss to know they aren't alone. I wanted women who have struggled with thinning edges for years to believe their hair can be nurtured again.

As a mom, I also wanted something gentle enough for my own children. That's why every ingredient was thoughtfully chosen to be nourishing and gentle. Our hair care line is designed for the whole family, including little ones who may experience dry scalps, cradle cap, or thinning hair from constant rubbing while they sleep.
